Why can't I go on dates without it saying I dont have time?
They're definitely not making any sense in most cases, but if you try to enjoy it in a different perspective - to accept the "weirdness" that it makes... Some of the stories are kinda cliche in that you would know what happened in between events, but definitely enjoyable.
You just had to watch it carefully sometimes to get the jist of it. All of those funny jokes that they play on each character were good enough to let me spend the day to laugh at it. Not the best, but well animated, especially in season one, they actually tried to theme each in different ways (american cartoons, japanese traditions, etc). The music they played in between episodes were suitable enough, and the Theme songs were definitely catchy. While each of them were team members of this military group, each of them has their cliche characteristics; Forte's crazy on weapons, Ranpha's crazy about materialism, Milfeuille's always lucky, dumb and kind-hearted, Mint's crazy about cute cosplay suits (animals, lol, and i love the sound that her cow-ears makes), and Vanilla, always quiet, sometimes gives you surprising reactions.
The Angel Brigade, an elite branch of the Transbaal Empire military, are assigned to search for The Lost Technology, mysterious items from the past that hold unknown powers.
Apricot Sakuraba and her friends from the games are given counterparts from the anime-verse. The high points of the series are largely considered to be the catchy Dancing Theme, which underwent Memetic Mutation, as well as two episodes where the original Angel Troupe made cameos. It may simply be the fact that Madhouse, the studio behind the original series, were unavailable and instead, Broccoli (the company behind the games) took up the project in-house and it was animated by Satelight, which meant that characters who were owned by Madhouse (Normad, Volcott, the Twin Stars, etc.) were unable to put in any appearances (save for a Lawyer-Friendly Cameo by a Normad-Missile).
Join Milfeulle, Vanilla, Mint, Ranpha and Forte in their adventures and you'll see what i'm talking about.9 out of 10!
discarded the former, tried to emulate the latter, and (arguably) failed miserably.
Nomad's always being abused (I think mostly by Forte). I enjoyed the series, and perhaps I'll look for the manga as well :) If you have the time and wanted to watch something to make you laugh a bit, pick this series up. This is a silly comedy, as such it should be reviewed like that and this review will do just that.
It's a nice mix of characters that plays in this anime nicely. I don't know about others, but I sure enjoyed it a lot. A lot of people (here on MAL at least) seem to give Galxy Angel a low score due to it's "lack of a story and plot".
